Liverpool Youth for Christ is looking for a passionate and dynamic Centre Director, who is committed to seeing young people’s lives changed by Jesus, to continue the work of the centre that has been built over the past few years.

The Director will be responsible for holding the vision and mission of the charity on behalf of the trustees and for leading the organisation forwards into the next season. This is an important moment for the charity as it pursues a refresh and relaunch of its ministry. This means the candidate will be pivotal for designing the future of Liverpool Youth for Christ.

You must be an experienced youth worker or youthwork manager with strong organisational and vision skills, experience of managing volunteers, together with the ability to think innovatively and plan strategically. You will value teamwork and will be able to foster a strong sense of collaborative working and possibly the supervising and mentoring sessional workers. You will understand the significance of the local church and be keen to support churches and work in partnership together.

Experience of schools’ work and church youthwork will be a significant advantage.

If you have a desire and a drive for young people to hear and respond to the gospel, we would love to hear from you.
